Apparently in an earlier draft of this it was left ambiguous if Chucky was alive or if it was the kid doing it. Honestly that sounds like a scarier movie but then you don't get Brad Dourif shouting "batter up!" and hitting a child in the back of the head with a wooden baseball bat. So ultimately I think they made the right decision. Don’t miss the bone-chilling trailer for “I Slay on Christmas,” set for release November 10th I love the original Child’s Play. It’s the only Child’s Play movie that nails a properly horrific tone. That doesn’t mean I don’t also adore Bride and Seed of Chucky, both of which are perfect examples of over the top black comedy. I wish the market would support another twisted Chucky comedy.
